”It has been a pleasure to work with Nina and Håkan Corneliusson at Basco Interior Design, Täby Stockholm. We started a very exciting cooperation in 2008 for Kosta Boda Art Hotel in Småland. I was asked to decorate 16 rooms in the hotel and also the dining room, restaurant, corridors and parts of the toilets. Both Håkan and Nina are inspiring to work with. Everything that Basco was in charge of was very well organised. They took care of all contact with craftsmen and suppliers. Basco was in charge of choosing the colours of the curtains and all furniture and I contributed with the decorations. Our cooperation went very smoothly and it felt like we shared all responsibilities.” |
”I have been working with Håkan and Nina Corneliusson, Basco Interior Design, with the
development of Kosta Boda Art Hotel. I was in charge of the artistic development of the Hotel’s reception and also 17 rooms + some other esthetical solutions. It has been very rewarding to cooperate with Basco under a tight schedule and with a limited budget. Håkan and Nina have with their individual competences within aesthetics, technique and colour really driven this project in a highly professional manner. Both Nina and Håkan are real “doers”. They have, whilst working under a very tight schedule and keeping within the budget, managed to come up with solutions that satisfy both builders and artists. They have a large network of all kinds of manufacturers which meant that nothing was impossible. It was very impressive that they managed to get leather cushions to the chairs in the reception in less than a week. The fact that they are also very creative and willing to discuss/respect other people’sopinions meant that it was both fun and rewarding to work with them.
